1- Definitely buy a small mesh net laundry bag. A small one big enough to fit 2-3 bras. You can buy them in supermarkets, Bed bath & Beyond or linens & things or that type of store.
2- Wash on delicate or hand wash cycle
    3- Hang to dry.

I would wash them in a a delicate’s bag. But be careful of the ones that are real thin with wide holes in the mesh. The clasps just wiggle out of them and snag onto everything else in the tub with them. If you can do it individually I’d get one for each. Hand washing is great but I love using fabric softner so I do it only in a pinch.

ive never had a problem with clasps breaking. However most of my bras i have to handwash because of satin and other delicate materials. Hand washing is obviously gentler if you have a bit of time to do it. i recommend that.
Make sure you have a full wash so that the clothes arent being banged around too much and theres a less strong and potentially damaging current of water going between them.
If handwashing is not the option for you than yes the suggestion you mentioned is probably worthwhile

I always put mine into a pillow case,in the washing machine, i have some old pollow cases, which have press studs on them, some really old ones with buttons. I am sure you could use an ordinary pillow case but do close the hooks on the bras. I found those mesh things one can buy are not brilliant, the hooks pop out of them, or of course hand-wash them to preserve the shape.

If you really want to preserve your bras, the best thing to do is to handwash them and hang them to dry. That way it leaves room for no breakage or ripping.
As for the washer, just clasp everything together and put the bras in a washable laundry bag. They are mesh and work so the inner part doesn’t snag on the clothes. Wash on delicate.

the best way to save your bras shelf life it to wash them already clasped together by them selves on the delicate cycle in your washing machine and hang dry them. most damage to clothes happens in the dryer, not the washer.i have had bras that lasted several years by babying them like this.

I hand wash my bras and hang them up to dry.
