in an avon book i noticed they had really nice bra’s for £5, they had them in black white or skin tone colour, so i have just ordered 2, my friend brought 1 about a month ago and it looks lush, i find it really hard to buy nice and comfy bra’s so im going to give this a go…. they also go upto size dd

Large and inexpensive are two words that DON’T go together. There are really nice ones available in specialty shops. But you’re going to pay through the nose for them. I regularly stop in to the oversized women’s shops to check out their new lingerie, as I am difficult to fit as well.

Know what a nightmare this can be.
Have you tried good old BHS recently got a couple of pretty ones from there without much expense and am unfortunately larger than a DD.
Evans is also another good suggestion together with M&S who now also do larger size cups for those so endowed.
Got a lacy one from Matalan but it had no support and as you know when you get into the larger cup size that is essential.
Have even found some whilst doing the supermarket shop in Tesco and Asda.
Wanting to purchase online try http://www.bravissimo.co.uk. They do have a catalogue that you can send for and have had some from them that are excellent quality from a variety of manufacturers. Naturally Close also have larger sizes and you can order online from them.
As you can see – I do have a good hunt around as it is a challenge.
Good luck – you have my sympathy and best wishes.

That is a great place to figure out exactly what size you are. I am a DD also and i shop at Victorias Secret and Fredricks of Hollywood. Fredricks is cheaper, but victorias has more everyday practical bras. I love them. Good luck

I too suffer with a large bust and these are my favourite places to shop:http://www.bravissimo.com/bravissimo/… – I highly recommend this one, I’ve bought lots of underwear from them and found their service A +++http://naturallycloseuk.drct2u.com/home.…http://www.redoute.co.uk/sopeuk/0,3069,l…
Also Marks and Spencers and John Lewis stock some lovely underwear for larger women. And if you are looking for bargains try TK Maxx, they often have Freya or Panache underwear in your wife’s size for half the price.
Just remembered Ethel Austins had some designer named underwear last week in large sizes.

I know how you feel!! I’m a 36F and its a bloody nightmare to find bra’s that are big and pretty. I splash out on ones from debenhams every now and again but i have noticed that Asda has started doing bigger bras that are actually really nice. Or matalan they’re pretty good too.

Victoria’s Secret only has larger sizes per catalogue, not in the store. I shop at finer department stores (Macy’s, Dilliard’s, Nordstrom, Saks), where the old ladies actually provide you with service. On average, I spend $30 a bra. Hope it’s helpful.
